Long Hiatus

Sorry about letting this blog go down the pipes, large fan base. If theres anything I despise it's a lazy blogger with bad grammar, so I have a hard time brushing my teeth in front of the mirror now. Anyways, let's see if we can kick start this blog in the new year with all new articles, opinions and fake news designed to keep the rest of the blogging community on it's toes. In our most recent news flash, Joel Pryzbilla didn't actually injure his knee last night, he just got popped in the chops and had be carried off the court on a stretcher, so he could get some kleenex to mop up all those tears and blood.

Give em Hell, Joel.

Trading your way to victory

I have entered myself in about six leagues, all yahoo, this year. While that usually means I'll succeed in at least one, it's by no means a guarantee. Whether it be a shaky drafting finger, injuries, or just plain bad luck, non of my teams really have a championship feel to them this year. So how to fix a greasy fantasy situation like this one? Trades of course!

Mcenroe would probably take Dirk 5th...

.....but not me. No, if I am lucky enough to land a 5-7 pick this year in any of my multiple leagues, I'll be taking on the still growing talents (fantasy-wise) of Danny "Sex Bat" Granger or Kevin "Sexy Thunder" Durant. They are both studs that could easily hold the #1 overall someday and I just gave them kick-ass nick names. I've never felt good about taking Dirk ahead of these boys, he just gives me the creeps. But if Dirk is all thats left @ 7 , thats the way the cookie crumbles. Hmmm, fuck it. I'd take Amare actually.

That brings up another topic I'd like to address, which is do not draft lists. Everybody has them, whether they know it or not. Here's a look @ mine:

Dirk Nowitzki
Kevin Martin
Manu Ginobili
Lamar Odom
Josh Howard
Ak47
Mike Dunleavy
Corey Maggette
Kirk Hinrich
Mike Miller
Kyle Korver
Quentin Richardson
Larry Hughes

Alright, it was getting to easy near the end there. Next week we'll be taking a look @ the do's and dont's of Yahoo drafting. Are yahoo's rankings fucked in the head? We say yes!

Nice Work, Russel Westbrook

Last year, Russel Westbrook was only out rebounded by Kidd, Paul and Rondo as far as PG elig players go. True, that's like being the tallest kidd on the short bus of rebounding, but he did out board small forwards like Marvin Williams, Richard Jefferson, Ron Artest, Al Thornton, Danny Granger and Ryan Gomes, power forwards like Kenyon martin, Brandon Bass, and the yeti from nba street. He's the best rebounder ever.

Get Fucked Corey Maggette!

...because I will never draft you! That's right, guys a flake. He offers little outside of PTs, FT% (career tunes of 5 boards,2 dishes and a whole combined 1.5 3s/stls/blks), has never played 80 games, and looks like xzibit. However, outside of the hollow roto totals he'll provide, he could fill out the back end of your small ball team in an h2h if you need an Sf or a PF or maybe even a fucking center. Don Nelson is bat-shit after all and there should be a shit-ton of minutes to go around in Golden State if Captain Jax heads out. Draft with caution.
